With the NFL on Sunday only, all eyes are on the four “best” teams in college football.

It is time for the College Football Playoffs.

First up, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the Clemson Tigers.

Cotton Bowl Classic

Who: #3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish at #2 Clemson Tigers

When: December 29, 2019, 2:00 pm Arizona Time

How: ESPN

The Tigers and Irish happen to also have a bevy of talented, draft eligible players to know, so let’s get same names to watch today.

Jerry Tillery, DT, Notre Dame

Tillery is a massive, 6-6 305lbs, defensive lineman. If the Cardinals want to beef up their defensive line, he is a good name to know.

Julian Love, CB, Notre Dame

The 5-11, 198lbs Thorpe Finalist is one of the stickier cover guys in college football. He is a junior, so he doesn’t have to come out, but as little as the Cards have invested at CB2 in the draft, he’s a name to watch out for.

Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson

This is the draft to need an interior defensive lineman. Wilkins is a productive, athletic, big man at 6-3 315lbs. He could be a name that makes it to day two and someone the Cardinals should know.

Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson

If the Cardinals forgo taking Nick Bosa at #1 and instead move down, Ferrell is a name that could make sense. Ferrell is a senior who has gotten better and more productive each year.

Clemson also has suspended Dexter Lawrence, who won’t be suiting up, but will be a name to know in the draft.
