With the Arizona Cardinals out on Alex Smith after being traded to the Washington Redskins and the reports that the Denver Broncos and Kirk Cousins are nearing an agreement, the Cardinals find themselves in a precarious situation.

That brings to the forefront the question of who will be on the Cardinals wish list?
The names being bandied about: Josh McCown, Case Keenum, Teddy Bridgewater, Tyrod Taylor and Sam Bradford.
Reports have come out about McCown and the Cardinals and Bradford and the Cardinals, but who makes the most sense?
McCown, Bridgewater and Bradford all would require an early investment in a quarterback, McCown because of age and Teddy and Sam because of injury concerns. Yet, Keenum and Taylor would likely require an investment in a quarterback, but maybe not on day one.
If you gave me a choice here is how I would grade them:
- Teddy Bridgewater and Rd2/3 QB
- Tyrod Taylor and Rd 3-4 QB
- Keenum and Rd2/3 QB
- McCown and Rd1 QB
- Bradford and Rd1 QB
Bradford is better than McCown, but I absolutely believe Bradford is too damaged to be entrusted with a starting job for a full season.
Bridgewater, if you sign him, clearly you have signed off on the physicals, but you still want a young QB in the works just in case of another issue.
How would you rank the potential Arizona Cardinals quarterback situation.
