First off, thanks to our good pal and friend of Revenge of the Birds, Redbird Thunder for the information in this graph.
When you look at all the mock drafts out there, one thing is for sure, no one knows anything.
Part of that is the fact that nothing has happened yet.
That’s why the fact that all of the information we are seeing out there is so different makes sense.
Moreover, the positions are so varied. It’ll change and I hope RT can keep up with the change so I can use this every couple of weeks, but it shows not only the variance in what people think of this class, but position groups and the prospects as a whole.
Yes, I know Orlando Brown’s name has a typo, I don’t care.
The names on the list are interesting because they almost all represent the same positions: Quarterback is the overwhelming pick, but offensive line (OT, OG, OC) and cornerback are also popular.
The two outliers are Vita Vea and Courtland Sutton.
Quite frankly, I don’t understand the Vea mock. Not because I don’t like Vea, I just can’t see that being a priority right now. Sutton makes sense because he is an uber-talented wide receiver and the Cardinals need wide receiver help.
Josh Allen is the top pick and I know Cardinals fans would be more excited about the position than the prospect.
Baker Mayfield is next followed closely by his teammate Orlando Brown Jr. I know Brown would not excite the fanbase, but it would be a great get for the team and really set the tone for who they want to be on offense.
The question to watch is... How does this change?
