Arizona Cardinals will have a new outlook on the NFL Combine

Arizona Cardinals have a new coaching staff, how does that effect their NFL Combine watching?

With the 2018 NFL Combine around the corner, we come to a new era of Arizona Cardinals football.

For the first time in about four years, we don’t know exactly what the Cardinals will be looking for in players.

With Bruce Arians at the helm, we knew the Cardinals wanted in running backs, wide receivers and along the offensive line.

Defensively, we knew they liked versatility, it was a staple of the Arians defense.

With Steve Wilks, there’s not much to know… yet.

He’s a one year defensive coordinator who didn’t have a ton of say in the defense he inherited.

Yet, he likes big, physical corners in the secondary.

He has an athletic interior lineman and one who is more traditional.

More than anything, we know he’ll want physicality from his players.

Yet, when it comes to combine metrics, we don’t have a baseline.

Meaning, for the first time in a while, we’re watching blind. Which is fun and different. Yet, we’ll have a chance to learn an all new philosophy for this team.
