Steve Keim has tough roster decisions to make for the Arizona Cardinals

How does Steve Keim decide to attack his decisions on cuts heading into the free agency period?

Atlanta Falcons v Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals have some tough decisions to make coming up in the next couple of weeks, but when looking back, have the Cardinals made any bad cuts before the free agency period that you can remember?

Maybe not going way, way back, but just in the last five years have the Cardinals missed on cutting a player?

I was trying to remember back and the Cardinals have a handy transaction tracker on their website, and the most noteworthy move they have made, at least recently, is Ted Ginn.

Sure, they traded Jonathan Cooper, but that was part of the Chandler Jones package and it wasn’t like Cooper found his footing in New England or Cleveland.

Ginn was immediately successful again, but he just never worked out, unfortunately, for the Cardinals, but is that “worst” cut Steve Keim has made?

Maybe William Gay?

That’s the thing this time of year, this is the first time we’re talking starters that could be released by the Arizona Cardinals.

Keim is going to have a harder time this offseason, as he stares down the barrel of cutting Tyrann Mathieu, Jared Veldheer and Mike Iupati.

Does he blink?

Does he have a plan in place?

It’s going to be an intriguing offseason when we find out.
