Steve Keim excited about Ricky Seals-Jones potential for Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals GM is excited about the future of the big tight end.

One of the biggest positives that came out of the 2017 NFL season for the Arizona Cardinals was the emergence of undrafted free agent Ricky Seals-Jones.

The Cardinals didn’t get much out of their last couple draft classes yet, but they did get something out of Seals-Jones.

For Steve Keim, there’s even more to look forward to this year with RSJ:

Ricky showed last year he could become a mismatch in the passing game athletically. Suddenness, his ability to create mismatches whether it is in motioning out of the slot, motioning out of the backfield. He is a guy to me that is just now scratching the surface. He’s a player we are excited about moving forward.

The Cardinals are not flush with young weapons for their… empty quarterback room, but they do have a player in Seals-Jones they’re excited about.

While Ricky was limited in 2017, as he continues to develop as a player, he could present a similar type of matchup advantage as Jimmy Graham. Maybe more resembling the Seahawks version, but that would be the best receiving tight end the Cardinals have had since… thumbs through Cardinals record books… a while.
