That didn’t take much time.
A day after being released from the Seattle Seahawks, All Pro cornerback Richard Sherman has signed a new deal, staying in the NFC West, unfortunately, and agreeing to terms with the San Francisco 49ers.
The #49ers reached an agreement with former #Seahawks CB Richard Sherman on a 3-year deal worth $39M, source said. $5M signing bonus.

Sherman joins what looks like an up and coming San Francisco team who is relying on the growth of young players, namely Jimmy Garoppolo, to help take the next step.
They’ll be competing with the Los Angeles Rams, who have already been extremely aggressive trading for both Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib.
The Arizona Cardinals won’t be getting away from Sherman any time soon, but also have to deal with a plethora of new talent in the division as well. Maybe the Seahawks defense takes a step back this season.
Oh, also they still don’t have a quarterback in what is quickly shaping up to be one of the best divisions in football.
