We are officially in the ‘legal tampering’ period of NFL free agency and already, reports are coming out of where players intend to sign once they are able to on Thursday. The Arizona Cardinals have been linked to some names, but have not been rumored to be officially signing anyone within the coming days.
Since the team is out on Kirk Cousins (who intends to sign with the Minnesota Vikings), the team will need to look elsewhere for a quarterback. One option appears to be current Chicago Bears QB Mike Glennon.
.@RapSheet says on @nflnetwork that Mike Glennon will be on the Arizona Cardinals' radar when he’s officially released by the Bears tomorrow.

Glennon is someone that has been rumored to be a player of liking of Steve Keim’s for a couple of years now. The Bears were foolish enough to sign him to a big money deal last offseason, and with Glennon not playing that well, they will now look to cut him loose and go with their QB of the future in Mitchell Trubisky.
It’s unknown if Glennon is looked at as someone the Cardinals would want to keep around long term or if he would be a bridge guy until a young quarterback is ready, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them work out a deal fairly quickly. Glennon should come fairly cheap after his value sunk from poor performance last season.
