One move has been made, the Arizona Cardinals are going to sign Sam Bradford to be their quarterback for the 2018 and maybe the 2019 season.
It is a relatively palatable deal with $15 million in guaranteed money, and Bradford can make up to $20 million with incentives, likely playing time based.
How do the Cardinals pay for that, well according to reports, they could be getting some cap relief in the form of a Tyrann Mathieu restructure:
#azcardinals and agent for @Mathieu_Era making progress on a contract restructure, per source. Would lower his cap number of $14.1 million this year.

This would be a welcomed relief as opposed to a straight cut of Mathieu that wouldn’t have saved the Cardinals a lot of money, but would have cut one of the most beloved players on the roster.
Many had speculated that Mathieu would be unwilling to work out a deal, but it was more about not taking earning potential out of his pocket, less than about not helping the team.
This would be a key offseason move for the Cardinals, as more news come we will have it for you.
