Arizona Cardinals receive average marks on Sam Bradford deal

The Arizona Cardinals move to bring in Sam Bradford didn’t move the meter too much.

The Arizona Cardinals have made a plethora of moves in the first week of free agency, and those people who feel like grading free agency moves do not seem to like them.

While there are a number of sites doing grading, you can check out their full grades in the links, here are the highlights of what they had to say about what the Arizona Cardinals did.

Sam Bradford: The Bradford move was met with mostly an eye-brow raise and a shrug of the shoulders. What they have failed to look at, was that this was an easy move for the Arizona Cardinals. Outside of pushing nearly $10 million in dead money into 2019 if Bradford isn’t on the roster next year, they have answered the immediate question of the quarterback, while also having a plan for 2019 in place... barring injury.

Sporting News: D
SI: C
Pro Football Focus: B-

Maybe the grades are low in the sense of those two “D’s”, but for the most part, the grades of ESPN, SI and PFF all make sense.

The Cardinals are getting a guy who is... average, on an average contract, and they are getting average grades.

What grade would you give the Arizona Cardinals?
