The Arizona Cardinals were not just scouting the quarterbacks today, no they also had a nice presence at a much smaller Pro Day, but one that boasts three intriguing prospects.
The Cardinals were one of a handful of NFL teams, including the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins, to put some work into the Southern Miss Pro Day.
The star of the show was safety Tarvarius Moore, who according to Tony Pauline, has an official pre-draft visit upcoming with the Arizona Cardinals.
Moore put on a show today, from Pauline:
He measured 6006/199 pounds, touched 39.5 inches in the vertical jump and 11-feet-2-inches in the broad jump. Moore timed a blistering 4.32s in the forty as well as 6.89s in the three cone. As was described to me by someone at the workout, Moore “killed it,” during drills
Two other prospects worth knowing from today are running back Ito Smith, who was a Senior Bowl prospect and wide receiver Korey Robertson. While Pauline did not tie either directly to the Arizona Cardinals, we know that the Cardinals have a way about getting information without doing too much with the prospect themselves.
Moore, though, is one to watch because he will likely be a late round, priority free agent and someone who has the ability to find a roster spot with his athleticism and special teams play.
