The biggest storyline for the Arizona Cardinals current roster heading into the offseason comes in the form of what they do in the situation of Tyrann Mathieu.
Reports have been pouring in over the last couple of weeks and yesterday was no different.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, whether you like his sauces or not, had this to say:
Based on everything I've heard this week at the combine would be very surprised if Tyrann Mathieu is back in Arizona next season

This is the classic hedge from insiders... Based on what I’ve heard, it would be surprising, things of that ilk typically get reported in an effort to get a report out there and if it is wrong, you shrug it off to connecting the dots.
If you are right, you are an insider.
This is not anything different than what we have heard for the last couple of months from the Arizona reporters, who have been fairly certain that Mathieu was gone, but haven’t really reported anything.
Mathieu, who has been active on Twitter lately, responded in his own way that only he can:
Is anybody gonna tell me anything https://t.co/AMiQOB6Snm

We’ll have a resolution soon, which is all we can ask for at this point, but follow Tyrann Mathieu to at least be entertained.
