With the NFL offseason in full swing, the moves coming down now are always the ones that make you scratch your head a little bit.
Not because you do not agree with the moves, but why now? What was taking so long to cut a player?
For example, the Oakland Raiders just cut Marquette King, who has been one of the better punters in the NFL over the last five seasons and the Raiders had just signed him to a massive extension, in terms of punters, in 2016.
Now, he is on the market.
The Dallas Cowboys are still making a decision on Dez Bryant... What’s taking so long? Are they trying to workout a trade?
On another subject, Blake Murphy brought up a great point on the Arizona Cardinals basic stagnation in free agency after their opening flurry... Maybe they are more comfortable investing right now in the draft and then picking up what’s left in free agency rather than trying to fit Jordan Matthews or E.J. Gaines (already signed now).
Enjoy your evening and play nice.
