It may be hyperbole, it may be truth, but the Arizona Cardinals captured the moment and if the Cardinals get what they want out of Josh Rosen, it will be a moment to never forget.
While sitting in the Arizona Cardinals Draft Room, General Manager Steve Keim and Owner Michael Bidwill are discussing the potential move.
We see Keim make the call to Reggie McKenzie, the Oakland Raiders general manager, like talking to a buddy, refreshing the offer the Cardinals had likely already established for the tenth pick.
It was tenuous in Keim’s eyes, because he knew it had to work or it would be back to the drawing board on going up to get the quarterback he so coveted.
The look of relief was fantastic.
Then, that sprung Michael Bidwill into action who was on the phone with the NFL, relaying that a trade had been made and finding out the Cardinals had seven minutes to get the pick in... The pick they already knew they were making.
It is an incredible look and in ten years, maybe it will be something to look back on with fondness.
Enjoy.
The first call was to the @Raiders.
