The best and worst of the NFL Draft is always wading through the grades that are instantaneous.
It is discussion fodder more than anything else, but it is always nice to see the NFL Media, the one that thinks the Arizona Cardinals may be the worst team in the NFL, come back with some positives.
And boy, are the Cardinals getting rave reviews for their first round pick of Josh Rosen.
Here are the grades and some of what they had to say about the Cardinals first round pick:
CBS Sports: A
They make the smart move to go up and get the guy who might be the most NFL-ready passer.
The Ringer: A
Rosen is the most polished passer in this quarterback class, advanced in his footwork, throwing mechanics, and understanding of coverages. When he’s forced to move off his spot to throw, things often break down, but when he drops back and throws on time, it’s a thing of beauty.
In three years, we may be wondering what other teams were thinking when they let Rosen fall to the Cardinals.
Rosen was an acute field-reader at UCLA and plays a timing-and-rhythm brand of football, which usually translates well to the pros. It’s one reason he’s known for his ability to throw receivers open. He is a great fit for offensive coordinator Mike McCoy’s multifaceted passing game.
Yahoo! Sports: I would say it is an “A” but check for yourself
The Cardinals need a quarterback and went all in when the best signal caller in the draft fell to 10. Bravo.
NFL SpinZone: A-
In other words, the Arizona Cardinals aced the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
