When the 2018 NFL Draft began the Arizona Cardinals had needs at quarterback, along the offensive line, at wide receiver and tight end… and that was just on offense.
The Cardinals also had positions of need on defense, especially at cornerback. There have been numerous thoughts and debates regarding what the team will do with their day one and two selections, and on day one and two they have revamped their offense filling maybe the two biggest needs, moving up to the 10th pick to draft quarterback Josh Rosen, then in round two they grabbed local product Christian Kirk at wide receiver. In the third round, with the 97th pick, they tabbed Mason Cole as their future at center.
Now, with their sixth round pick, the Cardinals have picked Chris Campbell with the 182nd pick in the draft.
The Arizona Cardinals’ draft needs in the remaining rounds of the draft now would be considered: tight end.
