The Arizona Cardinals made a stunning 24 undrafted free agent signings post 2018 Draft. Which meant they had 99 players on their current roster, with only being allowed to carry 90.

That means, cuts are coming.

The first wave have come in and the names are not well known, outside of one Gabe Martin, who was waived because of a lingering achilles issue (likely to be paid out by the Cardinals if he does not catch on with another team).

The other four names:

Jarrell Carter, CB - Was a practice squad member with the Arizona Cardinals.

C.J. Goodwin, CB - Played in two games after being claimed off waivers last December from the Atlanta Falcons.

Darius Victor, RB - Was a practice squad member with the Arizona Cardinals.

Drew Williams, LS - Signed in January before incumbent long snapper Aaron Brewer was extended.

The moves are not surprising, outside of cutting two corners. This means the undrafted free agents will have a better chance to hang on, since they are Wilks guys, as opposed to leftovers from the last regime.

No matter what, good luck and hopefully they are able to catch on somewhere.
