The names will continue to change for th Arizona Cardinals, this time, a grizzled veteran in Frostee Rucker has signed with the Oakland Raiders.
Raiders are signing former Cardinals’ DL Frostee Rucker to a one-year deal, per source. A 12-year veteran, Rucker wanted to play for a team that he thought he had a Super-Bowl chance.

This is truly a sign of the changing of the guard, as Rucker was one of, if not the most important veteran figures in the Arizona locker room under Bruce Arians.
Rucker had a heartfelt message for Arians, Michael Bidwill and the Arizona Cardinals fans:

Rucker, 35, played the best ball of his long career in Arizona.
Rucker collected 10.5 sacks, 180 tackles, forced four fumbles and recorded one safety for the stout Cardinals defense under Todd Bowles and James Bettcher.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Cardinals look for some type of veteran leadership along the defensive line or in the linebacking corps, as Antoine Bethea looks like the one veteran on the defense right now.
Thank you for how hard you played, how you lead and good luck in Oakland this season, Frostee.
