RotB Wednesday Night Open Thread: Who Should the Phoenix Suns take first overall?

Talk about the 2018 NBA Draft and the Phoenix Suns decision.

NCAA Basketball: Stanford at Arizona Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

The 2018 NBA Draft is tomorrow evening and while we will have an open thread for you to discuss the Phoenix Suns picks, make sure you checkout Bright Side of the Sun tomorrow.

Today’s question is simple.

Who do you want with the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft?

Deandre Ayton -

> In a draft full of high-end athletes, presumptive No. 1 pick Deandre Ayton stands out as the best of the bunch. A terror in transition and around the rim on both ends of the court, Ayton’s athleticism stands out as his top attribute and will be his calling card at the NBA level. He has all the tools to be an All-NBA player on both ends of the floor, though there are significant questions about his basketball IQ and sustained effort level, especially defensively.

Marvin Bagley III -

>Bagley is so sought after that many evaluators believe he is the most NBA-ready player in the draft, exceeding the likes of DeAndre Ayton and Luka Doncic, who are both set to go within the top five picks of the draft.

Luka Doncic -

> Luka Dončić has dominated the spotlight in Europe since he was 16 years old, and used his elite basketball IQ, shooting ability, and excellent passing instincts to become the most accomplished European draft prospect in history. His versatile skillset make him one of the safest and higher-ceiling players in the class, as he looks nowhere near done growing as a scorer.
