Much has been made of Josh Rosen’s offseason with the Arizona Cardinals and it is barely four weeks old.
Yet, the rub coming into the 2018 NFL Draft was that Rosen was the most pro-ready quarterback in the class.
Well, according to Vegas odds, that also translates to Rosen having the highest over/under on touchdowns by a rookie quarterback in the class.
It is a combination of two things:
- Rosen’s readiness to play and his ability.
- The lack of belief in Sam Bradford making it through the 2018 NFL season.
Here are the odds from Vegas as of May 31, 2018:
Over/Under TD ‘s (Rushing & Passing) – Rookies
Josh Rosen (Cardinals) 10.5
Josh Allen (Bills) 9.5
Sam Darnold (Jets) 7.5
Baker Mayfield (Browns) 7.5
Lamar Jackson (Ravens) 7.0
I was actually quite surprised to see Rosen that high up with the fact that Bradford is probably the third best QB on the list of starters ahead of the rookies, behind Joe Flacco and Tyrod Taylor.
Yet, it has to be the injury concerns of Bradford that give Rosen the highest over/under.
What do you think?
Would you take the over or the under on Rosen’s touchdown total in 2018?
