The Arizona Cardinals signed Arthur Moats to a one-year deal, reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Moats is a 30-year old linebacker, who previously played for the Buffalo Bills and, most recently, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is a former sixth-round pick that has recorded 228 tackles, 16.5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles in his nine years in the NFL. He was highly respected for his leadership on the field and was well-liked in the Steelers’ locker room.

The addition of Moats gives the Cardinals much-needed experience and depth at the outside linebacker position behind starters Deone Bucannon and Haason Reddick. He will compete Jeremy Cash, Edmond Robinson, Matthew Oplinger, and Dennis Gardeck for a spot on the final roster.
