Day two of Cards Camp 2018 is in the books and there was a whole lot of great information coming out of today.
Let’s get to it.
Just a reminder, tomorrow’s training camp is at 8:00 to 10:40 am, so if you’re planning on heading out to Glendale, make sure you’re there at the right time to catch all the Arizona Cardinals action in person.

I’ve always wondered as a player like Chad Kanoff what this is like. You know you 100% have an uphill battle to even see a practice squad in the NFL, but the difference in… urgency between Kanoff and the other two in the clip, Josh Rosen and Sam Bradford is apparent.

Insert joke about Bradford throwing a pass short of the sticks.
In first 11-on-11 drills in nickel offense, The WRs are Larry Fitzgerald, Brice Butler and Chad Williams. Ricky Seals-Jones at TE

Nodding along…
Today it is Will Holden lining up as a tackle eligible in a base offense set instead of John Wetzel.

If this is a real thing of the Mike McCoy offense, you wonder how much of the competition of John Wetzel, Will Holden and Korey Cunningham is based on their versatility in this set.
#CardsCamp rookie CB Chris Campbell with a nice pass break up inside the 10 yard line.

The rook showing up early after coming off the PUP list yesterday.
Benson Mayowa showed a really nice spin move to the inside. Will Holden didn't even touch him.

*Looks at previous statement* Or not.
Great catch by TE Bryce Williams over LB Airius Moore to end 7-on-7 session. #cardscamp

Minor but potentially important news in the competition to make the roster as a tight end out of camp.
Bradford challenged Patrick Peterson on an outside throw and zipped it in there complete to Butler. Then Peterson broke up a pass intended for JJ Nelson

Haason Reddick with a tipped pass and near-interception on a Bradford pass. Intended for Fitz.

The highs and lows of early camp returns.
Jamar Taylor breaks up a Sam Bradford pass intended for Christian Kirk.

I’m always team defense early in camp, especially CB2, so I’ll look at this is a good sign for Jamar Taylor.
On two straight plays Antoine Bethea reads a route perfectly and beats the pass-catcher to the spot. Such a smart player.

Very important player for the Cardinals in 2018.
That’s it from day two.
I had multiple people on the ground that I trust the last two days and these were both sent to me:
Looking at practice, staring 5-6 wins in the face...
After practice I think they can win 8-10 games...
I love training camp.
