The Arizona Cardinals continue to churn their roster, as today they signed cornerback Tim Scott.

From the team:

Scott (5-11, 195) joins the Cardinals after previously spending time with the Giants, Redskins, Browns and Cowboys since entering the league with Dallas as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2015 out of North Carolina. The 25-year old Scott played in one game with the Giants last year after spending time on New York’s practice squad. A four-year starter for the Tar Heels, Scott collected 218 tackles, eight interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and 32 passes defensed in 51 games in college.

Scott will wear jersey #45.

Scott has worked as both a corner and safety in the NFL, but has very little game experience, only seeing time in one game in his career.

For the Cardinals, bringing in a versatile defensive back gives them flexibility over the next couple of weeks in preseason as they get closer to making decisions on the final roster for 2018.

Good luck to Scott in his chance with the Arizona Cardinals.
