The Arizona Cardinals have announced the signing of Cap Capi

The Arizona Cardinals continue to churn the roster, even with Steve Keim on sabbatical.

Today, the team announced they are bringing back Cap Capi, from the team:

Capi (6-2, 249) rejoins the Cardinals after spending the 2016 season on Arizona’s practice squad and training camp with the team in 2017. The 26-year old Capi totaled five tackles, one sack and a forced fumble in four games with the Bills last season after collecting two special teams tackles in four games with the Giants. He originally joined the Giants practice squad after being released by Arizona. Capi entered the league with Jacksonville in 2015 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Akron.

In his two seasons at Akron, Capi had 70 tackles, seven sacks, 15 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and three passes defensed after beginning his college career at Colorado State.

Capi will wear jersey #61.

The Cardinals will apparently be using Capi as a defensive end in their 4-3 scheme, so Mitch’s article today still holds up.

What do you think of the Capi signing?
