The Arizona Cardinals fanbase had a bit of anxiety when Wednesday’s injury report came out with David Johnson listed as limited with a back issue.
While we do not have the Thursday injury report quite yet, we will in an hour or so, Johnson looked to be at about full speed at practice today.
For those concerned about RB David Johnson (back) -- in open part of #AZCardinals practice, he was taking part and hitting the blocking sled plenty hard.

While we won’t know the extent of Johnson’s participation, there does not seem to be much in the way of Johnson not playing on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
Other notes from the open part of practice:
No change in the guys working/not working. Only guys not out there were T Andre Smith and DT Olsen Pierre.

Smith’s absence may not seem like much to fans, but it will put a massive strain on the overall depth of the offensive line for the Arizona Cardinals.
Meanwhile, in game one we saw what happens when Olsen Pierre can’t do much, as it limited the rotation of the Cardinals interior defensive line, which took a beating against the Redskins.
Let’s hope to see both back soon.
