Well, that did not go as expected.
Not only did the Arizona Cardinals announce their signing of David Johnson on a Saturday night, but they then were bludgeoned by the Washington Redskins in their first game of 2018 the next day.
That caused the mood of this weeks Rise Up, See Red podcast to take a little bit of a turn from hopeful, to worried.
Not surprisingly, Jess and I tried to find some positives out of the carnage and there was some, but we also searched for a beacon of hope in the season moving forward.
It is a great hour, if not a little somber, but it will give you some things to look forward to this week against the Rams and for the rest of the season as a whole.
Enjoy.
