With the initial shock of the NFL’s cut down to 53-man rosters over, it is time for even more movement.

That’s right, it is time to start the waiver wire process.

The Arizona Cardinals go into Sunday’s waiver claims process with the 15th highest possible waiver position.

First, a quick refresh from our friends at Mile High Report on how the waiver wire works:

Teams have until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday to place a waiver claim on a player under the waiver wire process. Normally, waivers are processed within 24-hours, but NFL cuts weekend is special. The period to place a waiver claim is abbreviated and players run through the waiver process all at the same time whether they were cut on the Friday before or on Saturday before the teams are required to have their 53-man rosters set.

Players eligible for the waiver wire must have less than four-years of service in the NFL, otherwise they would become immediate free agents and can sign with any team at any time.

That means, that the Arizona Cardinals can put in as many waiver claims as they’d like, but they will be the 15th team in line for each player.

Who may be out there...? stay tuned.
