The final touch on the first week roster for the Arizona Cardinals is done.
The team announced their 10-man practice squad for the start of the 2018 season.
Unfortunately, this isn't a guaranteed spot or salary, but it is a great opportunity to continue your NFL journey and dream.
Now, we know the non-Cardinals who the team liked from around the NFL.
First, the ten names:
Will House - OL
Alec James - DE
Chad Kanoff - QB
Elijhaa Penny - RB
Pasoni Tasini - DT
Jalen Tolliver - WR
Andrew Vollert - TE
Chris Jones - CB
Demetrious Cox - S
B.J. Bello - LB
Here's a little info k. The final three, who the Arizona Cardinals added after they were cut by the Carolina Panthers (Jones and Cox) and the Browns (Bello).
Bello (6-3, 229) played all 16 games last season with the Browns and had seven special teams tackles after signing with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Illinois State. The 23-year old Bello had 67 tackles, six sacks and two forced fumbles in 12 games (11 starts) at Illinois State in 2016 after transferring from Illinois.
Cox (6-0, 200) played in four games with Carolina last season and had three tackles before being placed on injured reserve on October 24. The 24-year old Cox entered the league in 2017 with Cincinnati as an undrafted rookie free agent from Michigan State and was claimed off of waivers by the Panthers following the preseason.
Jones (6-0, 200) signed with the Lions in May as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Nebraska. The 23-year old Jones played 45 games for the Cornhuskers and totaled 76 tackles, two sacks, five interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 16 passes defensed and a fumble recovery.
