The Cardinals got it done after months of anguish and question marks over the potential extension, the Cardinals were able to get it done.
For many, the question was would they get it done and in time?
The answer now is... Yes!
One of the biggest questions was not the amount, it was the guaranteed money.
For months, the Cardinals and Johnson were unable to find a common ground on how much Johnson was worth over a course of time.
Well, we now know it is $30 million of guaranteed money over three-years, with a shot for Johnson to earn up to $45 million, the base is $39 million.
It also answers the question if Johnson would fall into a situation like the Steelers have Le'Veon Bell.
Now, there's not a question, the wait is over, the Cardinals have their man to transition, offensively, from Larry Fitzgerald.
It is also important moving forward because now, the first four years of Josh Rosen's career includes David Johnson.
Well done by Keim and company to find the answer before the season and allow the focus to be on football.
