The Arizona Cardinals offseason may be the most important in the teams history... and that is not hyperbole. After creating a new standard over the last two regimes, Steve Wilks came in and set the team back to the pre-Whisenhunt days. They were a laughingstock, they were playing bad, unwatchable football and they seemed destined to fail.
That’s why this offseason is so key. The Cardinals have another new head coach. They bring in a cavalcade of experienced assistant coaches and coordinators to help their young head coach get through the growing pains of the NFL and that will allow him to do what the team needs... Re-establish their offense.
While the Kliff Kingsbury signing is the one thing I wanted to happen this offseason, I feel vindicated in that, the question becomes now, what one roster move do the Arizona Cardinals absolutely have to make this offseason?
Is it just sitting pat and taking the best player in the draft at pick one? Is it trading down within the top seven and getting an avalanche of picks over the next two drafts to rebuild and restock? Is it bringing in a specific free agent on defense (C.J. Mosley or Jadeveon Clowney if they make it to free agency) or offense (Ja’Wuan James, Rodger Saffold or Trent Brown)?
Is there one player in the draft you think makes the Cardinals immediately better?
What one move do the Arizona Cardinals have to make this offseason for you to feel like they are heading back in the right direction?
