Arizona Cardinals get some offensive help back in Thursday injury report

A day after seeing a number of key players on the Wednesday injury report with the dreaded DNP (did not participate) next to their name with injuries, it was a little lighter on Thursday.

The Cardinals got both David Johnson and Maxx Williams back in a limited capacity while coming back from ankle issues, joining rehabbing and hopefully nearly ready Christian Kirk.

Defensively, Zach Allen is still missing and seems unlikely to play. He was healthy a week ago, but getting back into practice clearly flared up the neck issue and has caused him to regress. However, Zach Kerr returned in a limited capacity and seems likely to make it to Sunday healthy.

On the Giants front, they’ll be healthy, at least almost completely healthy outside of Sterling Shephard who is still limited with the concussion issue. For Shephard’s sake, I hope this thing gets better quick, I never want to see a player struggling to return from a concussion.

Let’s hope for a healthy Friday from both teams.
