The Arizona Cardinals have traded for a running back.
Adam Schefter of ESPN has reported the Arizona Cardinals will trade a conditional sixth round 2020 NFL Draft pick for Miami Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake.
Compensation update: Arizona is trading a 2020 6th-round pick that could become a 5th-round pick to Miami in exchange for RB Kenyan Drake, per source.

The trade for Drake signals the Arizona Cardinals are in a bind at the running back position, as David Johnson continues to deal with an ankle issue and Chase Edmonds hamstring issue seems significant enough to prompt such a move.
The team has a short week, with the top team in the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers coming to town on Thursday.
Drake (25), is in his fourth year in the NFL out of Alabama.
He has started 16 games in his NFL career, appearing in 54, and has rushed 333 times for 1,532 yards and nine touchdowns in his career.
He is a very good receiver out of the backfield as well, with 116 catches for 936 yards and six touchdowns in his career.
He could see a huge workload this week as the Arizona Cardinals have no other viable options at the running back position at this time.
Let's hope he can stay healthy and productive.
