The Arizona Cardinals acquired Kenyan Drake, pending a physical, from the Miami Dolphins via trade.
To make room, they have placed D.J. Foster on season-ending injury reserve.

Foster, 25, has been sidelined the past two weeks with a hamstring injury. He has primarily played on special teams this season, being the third-string running back behind David Johnson and Chase Edmonds.
Unfortunately for the Cardinals, Johnson (ankle) and Edmonds (hamstring) will likely remain out for at least another week. They will miss this Thursday night matchup with the 49ers.
The team recently signed Alfred Morris and Zach Zenner in wake of the recent injuries. Zenner got a little bit of playing time in their loss to the Saints and his confusion could be seen on the field. He is expected to start in their short week.
All of the new backs will have to learn the playbook as soon as possible.
