Won one for Mr. B

Cards got a confidence boost and despite a late push, there’s no better way to honor the late owner

This was a rough week for the Arizona Cardinals.

The team’s long-time owner and their President Michael Bidwill’s father passed away this week at 88 years of age.

And the Cardinals, despite having to overcome a late push where they let the Bengals back into the game, closed it down with clutch throws, a clutch drive and a late touchdown.

Almost Russell Wilson-esque in the ability to close and get the team’s first win. And hopefully it’s the first win of many. A loss would have been catastrophic. And that didn’t happen...so...

Good job guys. Two thumbs up.

That was needed...badly. Kyler and Kliff got their first win, the team added some confidence and they stayed out of the L column. But this was deeper than that.

Here’s hoping Bill Bidwill’s honored and watching down from somewhere with a smile on his face.
