It wasn’t the prettiest game we’ve seen from him, but Kyler Murray did all he could to position the Cardinals to come out of Levi’s Stadium with the W. Both keeping the ball out of Niner defeners and dealing where he could despite some lackluster receiver play. Unfortunately those efforts fell short, but it wasn’t without some heroics from the young quarterback.
It started early with what would have been a deep strike to Kirk for a TD had it not been for what was eventually called a DPI. But a heck of a throw regardless.
That would not be the only dime Murray had in store, as he hit one of his best passes of the year deep down the field to Cooper, with pressure in his face and perfect placement.
And of course I’d be remiss if I excluded the go ahead score in the fourth that he took in himself.
Unfortunately K1 wouldn’t get his chance for any last second heroics as the ball was fumbled away by KeeSean Johnson with less than a minute to go. But it’s yet another week where we see the future of the franchise flash some fantastic abilities.
