SB Nation’s FanPulse is back for 2019 and it is bigger and better than ever. If you have missed out on signing up, don’t worry, there is still plenty of time for you to be part of the Revenge of the Birds FanPulse and weigh-in on all the Arizona Cardinals topics.

A loss to the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers, fans tumbled back down again.

63% saw the vision of the Cardinals after a last second loss to the Bucs.

Yet, a week later, the Cardinals again choke on defense after a great effort on the offensive side of the ball and fans are... more confident?

That’s what happens when you play the top team in the NFC to the wire and know that the glaring weakness, the defense won’t be fixed this year.

However, if you are the most successful offensive team against the best defense in the NFC, well then you know half your problems are fixed and that means the team is going in the right direction.

That is why we see the confidence go up after another loss.

The confidence in the direction of the team is back to 70% and fans are happy with close losses. For now.

While the Cardinals fans are excited about the direction of the team and the growth of Kyler Murray, he was not included in the national question about who the best QB will be in five years.

The winner was an easy call, although Lamar Jackson is definitely making it harder to make that call “easy”.

I am extremely interested to see how this poll looks next year when Kyler is an MVP candidate.

Write it down now.
