  • Cardinals trade RB David Johnson to the Redskins for T Trent Williams. Similar salaries—-both need a change of scenery.
  • Cardinals trade CB Patrick Peterson to the Eagles for OLB/DE Josh Sweat and their 2020 3rd round pick. Eagles have long desired adding Peterson to fill a key need and Sweat gives the Cardinals an athletic 6-5, 251 pound bookend for Chandler Jones.
