There is a new king of the mountain in the NFL.
At least for one week.
I don’t do overreaction type things, but I also am big on understanding that Power Rankings should be about the teams playing well in the season and not about what I think of their overall chances of being a contender are.
That’s why even though I would take New England straight up over San Francisco, the 49ers should be the top team until they are not undefeated. They have earned it.
Let’s take a look at the 2019 Week 10 NFL Power Rankings.
- San Francisco 49ers (8-0)
- New England Patriots (8-1)
- New Orleans Saints (7-1)
- Baltimore Ravens (6-2)
- Green Bay Packers (7-2)
- Seattle Seahawks (7-2)
- Minnesota Vikings (6-3)
- Buffalo Bills (6-2)
- Indianapolis Colts (5-3)
- Houston Texans (6-3)
- Kansas City Chiefs (6-3)
- Los Angeles Rams (5-3)
- Dallas Cowboys (5-3)
