Arizona Cardinals to reinstate guard Max Garcia per report

Per Arizona Sports and John Gambadoro:

Garcia is a four-year veteran that has started 41 of the 56 career games he’s played in, but found himself on the bench with the Broncos for most of 2018, started four games once Ronald Leary was injured, then tore his ACL in November.

The interesting thing about Garcia was he was looking promising for the Broncos in 2016 and 2017. In those two season, the former fourth round pick out of Florida started all 32 games.

However, he was one of the worst guards in the NFL in 2017 and was on the verge of being cut before the 2018 season.

His familiarity with Kugler will be important, as he is learning a new scheme, but knows what Kugler expects.

I don’t expect Garcia to start, unless Mason Cole struggles or an injury occurs, so it is a bit different to bring back depth along the offensive line.

We’ll see what that means for Robert Alford’s potential return.

Welcome to the team offcially, Max.
