The Thursday injury report for the Arizona Cardinals was much, much better than the Wednesday one and it should give fans a bit of hope about the defense come Sunday.

The Cardinals need as much help against the high-flying Bruce Arians offense.

Let’s take a look at the Thursday injury report for the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

No Tramaine Brock, no Chase Edmonds, no Justin Murray and no Zach Allen, but none of that is unexpected.

No, isntead you see positive upgrades to Terrell Suggs and Brooks Reed which the Cardinals need because they’ll be able to get after turnover prone Jameis Winston.

They also may be seeing a hobbled Bucs offensive line as both Demar Dotson and Ali Marpet are limited. It could be a big determining factor in what the Cardinals do against the Bucs passing game.

The other thing is, Carlton Davis was downgraded when the Bucs actually practiced on Thursday and he is one of the top corners for the Bucs, so it could be something to monitor today.
