Well, that is different.

The Arizona Cardinals announced that they have released 37-year old Terrell Suggs after 13 forgetful games.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has released linebacker Terrell Suggs.

Suggs played in 13 games this season with the Cardinals after joining the team as a free agent in the offseason.

Suggs has had a non-descript 2019 season for the Cardinals, in his 13 games he has 5.5 sacks, 37 tackles including eight tackles for loss and seven additional quarterback hits.

Suggs is second on the team in sacks behind Chandler Jones who has 14, he is second on the team in tackles for loss and third on the team in quarterback hits.

Suggs, a likely Hall of Famer, now sits at 138 sacks in his career, those 5.5 sacks moved him into ninth all-time and if he finds a home for the rest of this season or next year, he’ll likely move into the top six all-time.

Good luck to Terrell in his next adventure.
