That was quite the first half for the Arizona Cardinals in Seattle.
The Cardinals lead the Seahawks, yes they lead the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle 17-7 at the half.
That’s a bit of a surprise when you see that they are doing it with another stellar defensive performance.
Kyler Murray was hit and miss in the first half, finishing 10/16 for 98 yards and a touchdown pass while rushing five times for 36 yards.
It was the Kenyan Drake show in the first half, as Drake broke an 80-yard touchdown run on the second drive of the game that tied it 7-7.
Then, it was the defense as Chandler Jones came alive, finishing the half with three sacks.
The Cardinals capped off the half with a Zane Gonzalez field goal after what looked like Larry Fitzgerald’s second touchdown of the day was overturned.
Let’s hope they can close it out in the second half.
Go Cardinals!
