The debate will rage from now until free agency.
Maybe even after if the Cardinals maintain their current starting lineup along the offensive line heading into 2020.
Yet, the question will be, can they upgrade immediately along the offensive line in the 2020 NFL Draft?
If they do no re-sign D.J. Humphries, something they have been trying to do, they may have to look to the draft.
Pro Football Focus has their newest mock draft for 2020 out and they have the Arizona Cardinals taking an offensive lineman with the ninth pick in the draft.
From PFF:
9. ARIZONA CARDINALS — OT TRISTAN WIRFS, IOWA
Wirfs only allowed multiple pressures in two games this season, and he only allowed one total pressure over his last six games. That’s indicative of just how far he’s come after earning a 52.9 pass-blocking grade as a true freshman.
We know the Cardinals like that PFF subscription, so we’ll see if some of the fans get their wish in 2020.
