The 2019 College Football Playoffs are here.

Four of the best teams in the country will compete today and vie for a chance to play in the College Football National Championship.

With the best teams playing we will also get some of the best players in the nation competing. Players the Arizona Cardinals could be looking at in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Let’s take a look.

#4 Oklahoma Sooners vs #1 LSU Tigers, Peach Bowl, ESPN, 2:00 p.m. Arizona time

The Sooners boast a trio of prospects that could be on the Cards radar in the first three rounds.

Obviously there is CeeDee Lamb, the Deandre Hopkins clone, but in round two linebacker Kenneth Murray would fit exactly what the Cardinals need alongside Jordan Hicks and give them a nice, athletic duo of linebackers.

Finally, Creed Humphreys is a fantastic interior offensive lineman who could be a nice fit if the Cardinals move on from A.Q. Shipley.

For the Tigers, there is the nearly unanimous top pick Joe Burrow, but the Cardinals have no chance or need for him.

However, they could use cornerback Kristian Fulton if they decide to move on from another LSU corner.

Grant Delpit is an interesting option for the Cardinals if he continues to fall down draft boards. He could be a nice option to combat the tight end issue.

Finally, Jacob Phillips is another in a long line of talented LSU linebackers. The 6-4 229 linebacker has the length and speed the Cardinals need at the position.

#2 Ohio State Buckeyes vs #3 Clemson Tigers, Fiesta Bowl, ESPN, 6:00 p.m. Arizona time

Ohio State boasts the best player in the draft in Chase Young, but the Cardinals plans on him are long gone (and they like most teams had plans on him).

However, Jeffrey Okudah is another cornerback who could be on the board for the team.

Wyatt Davis is a very talented offensive line prospect who could be a nice fit in Arizona on day two.

There are two prospects that I can’t stop picturing in AZ though, as J.K. Dobbins and Malik Harrison are both second round guys that could make the Cardinals into a complete team.

Clemson, it’s another big list.

Isaiah Simmons is a prospect many Cardinals fans are infatuated, because you can never have enough first round inside linebackers who didn’t play inside linebacker in college (Simmons gives me a Derwin James vibe which is a great thing).

Tee Higgins is another wide receiver that could give the Cardinals a boost along the outside.

Travis Etienne is a great running back prospect that could fit in Kingsbury’s offense.

Finally, A.J. Terrell is a long cornerback the Cardinals could find as a fit on day two.

Enjoy the games.
