Despite taking a beating on Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals still sit in the bottom of the top ten in the 2020 NFL Draft and a win over the final three weeks will likely guarantee they stay out of the top five (which I am fine with as a I dive deeper into the 2020 NFL Draft class).

Let’s take a look at what the 2020 NFL Draft would look like if it happened today with the top 20.

Let’s take a look.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals (1-11)
  2. New York Giants (2-10)
  3. Washington Redskins (3-9)
  4. Miami Dolphins (3-9)
  5. Atlanta Falcons (3-9)
  6. Detroit Lions (3-8-1)
  7. Arizona Cardinals (3-8-1)
  8. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-8)
  9. New York Jets (4-8)
  10. Los Angeles Chargers (4-8)
  11. Denver Broncos (4-8)
  12. Philadelphia Eagles (5-7)
  13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-7)
  14. Carolina Panthers (5-7)
  15. Cleveland Browns (5-7)
  16. Oakland Raiders (6-6)
  17. Indianapolis Colts (6-6)
  18. Oakland Raiders via Chicago Bears (6-6)
  19. Tennesse Titans (7-5)
  20. Jacksonville Jaguars via LA Rams (7-5)

Carolina and Cleveland are in the coin flip stage so depending on where you look that could switch.

Here is the craziest thing, if the Cardinals win on Sunday they’ll drop at least below the Jaguars or Chargers who play one another. They could also fall below the Jets and Broncos if both of those teams lose this week. Meaning the Cardinals could be all the way down to the 10th pick.

A loss would need the Lions to beat the Vikings in Minnesota and the Skins to beat the Packers in Green Bay.

The two potential teams that the Cardinals could jump are the Dolphins who play the Jets in Jersey and the Falcons, who get a struggling Panthers team.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold the next several weeks. It seems like the Cardinals will be in the 5-10 range come the end of the season.
