We are onto the Championship game weekend.
It is my favorite weekend in college football every year because we should get three or four good games.
It starts with the Pac 12 and their championship game that Arizona State found a way to spoil with their upset win over the Oregon Ducks.
Here is everything you need to know about the game.
#13 Oregon Ducks vs #5 Utah Utes (-6.5), 6:00 p.m. Arizona time, ABC
Over/Under: 46
Utes 38
Ducks 27
Who to watch:
Oregon has potential first round quarterback Justin Herbert, but I have never been the biggest Herbert guy. No, for me this game is all about the guys around Herbert for the Ducks. Shane Lemieux is a veteran guard for the Ducks and I think he looks like a great day two fit for Kliff Kingsbury’s offense. The other offensive player I really like is Jacob Breeland, the shifty tight end for the Ducks.
Meanwhile, the Utes have two defensive players I am keying in on. First is the big man in the middle, Leki Fotu. Fotu is a mammoth 6-6 335lbs monster who could be a nice late day two early day three defensive line find.
Meanwhile, if the Cardinals are looking at cornerbacks again in round two, Utah has a good one in 6-0 195lbs Jaylon Johnson.
Enjoy the game.
