Someone is crazy enough to do a full seven round mock draft, who do they have the Arizona Cardinals taking.

Predicting the NFL Draft is hard enough, but to see a full 7 Round 2019 NFL Mock Draft happen before the NFL Combine has even taken place is just plain nutty.

Well, NFL Draft Wire threw caution into the wind and did a full seven round mock draft for your entertainment.

Here was what they gave the Arizona Cardinals.

  • 1.01 - Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

One of the three players that will likely be in consideration for the Arizona Cardinals, Williams would be the addition to the defensive line that could potentially help put the Cardinals back on track. It leaves a hole at the edge opposite Chandler Jones, but maybe that can be found in free agency.

  • 2.01 - Yodny Cajuste, OT, West Virgina

Another Air Raid tackle, one that has mixed reviews based on who you follow. He’s a talented and accomplished left tackle who could come in and immediately compete at right tackle in an offense he knows well.

  • 3.01 - J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford

Three rounds, maybe the three biggest needs for the Cardinals addressed. I had an interesting conversation about JJAW with someone the other day and this was their thought on him: “Total box out/red zone master and can make adjustments to bad balls...”

  • 4.01 - Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama

An aside... Do you ever feel like national NFL Draft writers look at team needs, look at their board then just fit them together as much as possible? Not saying this is what the writer did, but this is a bit on the nose for needs.

Diggs is quite the enigma. A two-way player early in his Bama career, as he started to focus in on defense, he started to become a household name, but then a broken foot caused him to miss time. He was getting early day two late day one talk before the injury.

  • 5.01 - Ben Powers, OL, Oklahoma

Well, Powers won’t have to block Williams again... I guess there is that.

  • 6.01 - Nate Herbig, OL, Stanford
  • 6.05 - Carl Granderson, Edge, Wyoming (From Tampa Bay)

I’m not gonna lie, someone else can tell me about Herbig and Granderson.

How would you grade this mock draft for the Arizona Cardinals?
