The 2018 NFL season is officially in the books, which means for the most part, sans compensatory picks, we know the draft order for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Which means more mock drafts are on the menu.

Today, SB Nation’s own draft guy Dan Kadar goes over two rounds for the Arizona Cardinals and basically does what every Cardinals fans wants the team to do if they don’t make any moves.

1. Arizona Cardinals: Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

Fit or best player? That is the question that the Cardinals will have to answer regarding the first overall pick in the draft. Ohio State’s Nick Bosa is the best player in the draft. Alabama’s Quinnen Williams, who is just slightly behind Bosa, is the better fit for Vance Joseph’s defense. It will be fascinating to follow rumors surrounding the top pick for the next several weeks.

This has been my argument from jump. If you grade Bosa as the drafts best player, you cannot in any way trade the pick. You have to take the best player in the draft when you have the opportunity, it is too rare for most teams.

The second round pick is the one that I will have Kyle Posey break down next. He’s getting a lot of burn on mock draft sites to the Arizona Cardinals.

33. Arizona Cardinals: Yodny Cajuste, OT, West Virginia

Cajuste is just on the fringe of being a first-round pick. The Cardinals need to fix their offensive line this offseason, and Cajuste can take over at left tackle.

Cajuste is fluctuating pretty big right now, but in Kadar’s mock he is OL7 off the board, yes six offensive linemen that go in round one.

Which means it is either Cajuste, Chris Lindstrom or Alabama State offensive lineman Tytus Howard in the second round, based off Kadar’s draft.

In that scenario though, the tough pass would have been on Nick Bosa’s teammate, Dre’Mont Jones, who goes at 34 to the Indianapolis Colts.

What do you think of Kadar’s mock? It seems to be close to what most Cardinals fans have expressed in wanted to see the Cardinals do.
