It is time for the 2019 NFL Free Agency tampering period to get underway.
Which means that NFL teams can meet with, court and agree in principle to terms with free agents.
No contracts can be signed up Wednesday, but that doesn’t matter, because we’ll get a boatload of information over the next two days before pen gets to paper.
According to John Gambadoro, the Cardinals will look to make a splash at inside linebacker.
NFL Free agency tomorrow. I believe the Cardinals will be active and expect the big splash to be a LB. I expect them to talk to several but keep your eye on Jordan Hicks & Brandon Marshall. Backup QB maybe Tyrod Taylor or Brent Hundley. WR market is not good so 1 on the cheap

When you look at the names Gambo is throwing around, you don’t really see a splash signing that he is talking about, instead you see potentially good signings, but you don’t see anything that will alter the landscape of the NFL.
No, signing Jordan Hicks would make the linebacking corp extremely well rounded, as Hicks is savvy in both the run and pass game and has shown to be a guy that can carry a linebacking unit.
Meanwhile, Marshall has been an expected signing since he was let go by the Denver Broncos so I am not sure that would count as a splash in free agency.
The backup quarterback market is one we’ve looked at and both Tyrod Taylor and Brett Hundley make sense.
However, Gambo’s assessment of the wide receiver market differs from my own. Names like Adam Humphries, Breshad Perriman, Golden Tate and Tavon Austin would all be good fits in with the Arizona Cardinals.
As all the information comes out, make sure to keep up with our Arizona 2019 NFL Free Agency stream.
