The name just starts a fight amongst Arizona Cardinals fans.
Yet, he’s quite simply the most important player in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Simply put, if the Cardinals truly want Kyler Murray he has to be the best player in the draft.
If the Cardinals want someone else to want Kyler Murray so they can trade the first pick, then he has to be the best player in the draft.
That’s why Murray’s pro day will be the most important one of the 2019 NFL Draft.
The Arizona Cardinals understand this, they are sending a large contingent of their decision makers and coaches to Norman, Oklahoma tomorrow to be in attendance. Whether it is truly to see more of Murray, or to take in the other day one and day two Sooner prospects, they’ll be there.
They’ll also be taking notes of who else is there.
Pat Shurmur, he of the New York Giants with the 6th and 17th pick will be on hand.
Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock, they of the Oakland Raiders with picks 4, 24 and 27 in round one will be in attendance.
Whether or not the Arizona Cardinals are serious about Kyler Murray with the first pick, they’ll be there and they’ll be having him in for a private workout and they’ll continue to play the game.
Murray and the rest of the Oklahoma Sooners, Cody Ford, Ben Powers, Dru Samia, and Bobby Evans among others.
NFL Network will provide coverage of Murray’s pro day today on March 13, which starts at 7 am Arizona time.
